It’s August and the summer is almost over. Why am I learning about these now?

While it might be too late for me and the rest of the Northern Hemisphere this year, these sandals might be a cool thing to get for those of you in warmer areas or the Southern Hemisphere. I'll put these on my Christmas list.

You'll never face an unopenable beer bottle at the beach again!

How often do you find yourself out at the beach, a picnic, or the park and you need a bottle opener? It always seems to be the one thing I forget when I purchase all non-twist top beers. If I get twist top beers, I’ll have 6 bottle openers. Never fails.

A friend of mine was over this weekend, and he had the perfect answer. Sandals with a bottle opener embedded in the sole. You’re not likely to forget your sandals. If you need to open a bottle of beer, just pop off your sandal for a minute and you are set! You will never be without a church key at the park again. I thought these were so cool; I had to write about them.

His were the Reef brand and I don’t know if other manufacturers make these as well. They’re kinda spendy for sandals, but wow what a coolness factor.

If someone cares enough to be drinking good beer do they really want to use an opener that was on the ground and get who knows what into their beer?

And if they don't drink good beer at least then they would potentially get some flavor into their beer, dirt and off flavors, but it's still flavor. :evil:
