Nothing says "Geek cred" like a USB Bottle opener.

Next time you find yourself in a situation where you need to open a beer bottle and sneaker-net a file (for code monkeys like me, this happens all the time), TrekStor has the gadget for you.

TrekStor is selling a USB thumb drive which doubles as a bottle opener.  This "little buddy" is a USB 2.0 solid state drive (25 MB/s read and 12 MB/s write) which is bootable and comes in sizes ranging from 1 to 16 GB.  The casing is aluminum so you don't need to worry about breaking it on those tough bottle caps.

The drive is preformatted and works with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.  Best of all it works with all bottled beers with a bottle cap!  How cool is that?

The site lists the prices between 6.99 EU and 49.99 EU.  I'm sure we'll be seeing these on this side of the pond too.

I made wine out of raisins so I wouldn't have to wait for it to age.
