The Great American Beer Festival (GABF) tickets go on sale June 1st! If you've ever wanted to try 1,800 different beers in an evening do we have the beer festival for you!

The Brewer's Association hosts the Great American Beer Festival.  Since 1982 the GABF has been serving beer from America's best (and some so-so) breweries.  This year they will have over 1,800 beers from over 300 breweries.

If there is only one beer festival you can attend, this should be the one!

The festival will be held this year between September 24-26.  If you want to go, you need to act now.  The tickets go on sale June 1, 2009, but will sell out before the summer is over.  The first year I went, I tried to get a ticket the day of the festival for my sister.  The tickets were sold out, and I ended up handing over more than double the ticket price to a scalper.  This year the tickets are $55.

If you go be sure to stop me (between beers) and say hi!  I hope to see you there.
