Review of Cork & Co., a wine bar in Austin's famous 6th Street.

Cork & Co. is located three blocks south of the famous 6th Street. The ambiance is nice as you sit at tables with barstools or at the bar itself and the movie being projected onto the wall behind the bar. Their menu offers an extensive variety of wines from across the world which you may accompany with cheese or dessert. Wine flights are a great way to taste three wines at once based on the type or region of the wine. Two of their weekly events include “Mama Mia Night!” and “Chocogasm!” The prior consists of authentic hand-tossed pizza and their Mama Mia flight- three favorite Italian red wines. The latter is perfect for Girl’s Night Out while enjoying four sparkling wines and chocolate truffles. Private wine parties are also available.

Cork & Co. also functions as a retail wine store, so all wines are available for purchase in-person or for online shipping (restrict areas apply). Prices range from $12 to $75 per a bottle. Discounts are given to half and full case orders. Wines contained in their numerous wine flights are gathered together in order to safe time shopping around.

If you are ever in the Austin area, please take an evening to try Cork & Co. or just check out their website: http://www.corkandco.com
