Think about it – you are using only 2L of grape juice in a wine kit diluted with gallons of water.

The other – no water just pure grapes, nothing beats that.

I agree though with wine kits being good for new people getting into making wine or people who don’t have the space or time.  But even then its better to buy grape juice buckets not from concentrate.
