Another senseless truck accident destroys our precious brew.

In what can only be described as a horrific tragedy, as much as 40,000 pounds of beer was scattered across Interstate 94 in Eastern Kalamazoo County in Michigan.  (Who measures beer in pounds?!?!)

What the accident might have looked like if we were there

The sobering accident occurred around 11:10 pm late Tuesday night, a prime beer drinking time, when the driver of the beer truck experienced a tire blowout causing the vehicle to swerve out of control and strike a pillar.  The highway was closed for about 5 hours, while distraught crews cleaned up the beer.

The driver was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  Bob and Doug McKenzie were too upset and unavailable for comment.
