Beer nut row row rows a boat....
It never ceases to amaze me what people around the world will do to get home after a night of drinking. We’ve had the German man who tried to get into his friend’s house Santa-style . There was the Michagan man making a wine run on a lawnmower . Recently we’ve witnessed the drunk driving wheelchair , and now this. A drunk 78-year-old Swede needed to get back home after a long night of drinking in Denmark. His home was 5 km (3 miles) away across the strait of Oresund. Does he call a friend? A cab? No when this beer nut needs to get home, he reaches for another man’s dinghy. The Swede took the purloined dinghy out into the strait attempting to row back to Sweden. Rowing across the strait was probably how he got home back in the day. This day, however, was not like back in the day. He quickly got tired and decided to take a nap. He’s lucky the Oresund strait is a busy shipping lane. Danish police found the snoozing drunk asleep at sea. Despite the international heist (and grabbing another man’s dinghy is not cool), no charges were pressed.
