Game of Thrones themed beers

by Around the Internet, Featured

Some guy named Satansbrand (with a name like that, his parents must have hated him) created some very cool Game of Thrones themed beer labels. The labels are based on existing beers like Guinness or Stella, with slight modifications.  If you’re not familiar with Game of Thrones, this might not make much sense to you.  It’s basically a drama on HBO based on books by George R. R. Martin which combines of Dungeons and Dragons, sex, and a very bloody game of king of the hill.

There’s one for most of the big houses in Game of Thrones. The labels are very good quality, but I really think the artist could have had more fun. Tyrion’s Imp-erial Ale? Wildfire Wit? Brianne’s Massive Blonde? Joffery’s Zima Clone (I hate that little bastard).  Speaking of… Jon Snow’s Arrogant Bastard?

It’s all on a site called redbubble.com, which looks like a cafe press competitor. You can order the prints on mugs, tshirts, cards, etc… at least until some lawyer from the respective brewery or HBO notices their intellectual properties are getting used to make money (not sure this falls under satire).

I live in Denver, Colorado. This blog is everything about beer, wine, cider, mead and other spirits.
I am a avid homebrewer and winemaker. I’ve been making my own beer and wine for many years. I started making beer when I was in college (mostly because the drinking age in the United States is 21). My first few beers were horrible. The beers are much better now, and I often supply my neighborhood with free beer! It is a great hobby!
